Hypnotherapy at Clinical Healing
What is Hypnotherapy?Hypnotherapy is a fast and effective way of helping you find solutions to problems or beliefs. By combining deep relaxation techniques with a person's own willpower and motivation, hypnotherapy is an effective tool to address a range of issues including weight loss, smoking and lifestyle changes, anxiety and stress management, increased confidence etc.
Habits can often become engraved into the subconscious through repetition. The therapy aims to work towards modifying these behaviours using very simple methods. By addressing these underlying issues hypnotherapy can be applied to many aspects of ones life such as exam nerves, driving tests, fear of public speaking, anxiety when visiting the doctor or dentist... the list endless.
Hypnotherapy is safe and fast becoming accepted by the NHS.
How does it work?To understand hypnosis, it is important to understand how your subconscious mind works. Your subconscious is the part of your mind that is the most powerful and is also the pool of all your creativity and imagination. It is the hard drive responsible for all your emotions and is therefore the driving force behind nearly all of your habits and behaviours. The data on your hard drive combine to form a set of beliefs which have accumulated through your life experience from early childhood from tecahers, parents, friends and other influences. As you evolve it is likely that some of these beliefs are invalid or no longer aligned with who you really are.
Hypnosis is a safe way to access and reprogramme the "corrupted" information in your subconscious mind, to achieve a desired outcome.
