Hypnotherapy To understand hypnosis, it is important to understand how your subconscious mind works.  Your subconscious is the part of your mind that is the most powerful and is also the pool of all your creativity and imagination.    It is the hard drive responsible for all your emotions and is therefore the driving force behind nearly all of your habits and behaviours.  The data on your hard drive combine to form a set of beliefs  which have accumulated through your life experience from early childhood from tecahers, parents, friends and other influences.  As you evolve it is likely that some of these beliefs are invalid or no longer aligned with who you really are.
